ne of our MNC clients M/s Informatica Corporation for the following position to be based in Bangalore.
QA Engineer:
Hands-on QA engineers to test and critique software components and interfaces of various Informatica products. Great opportunity to work with cutting edge technologies eg: Web Services, Real Time Messaging (MQSeries, WebMethods), ERP/CRM Technologies (SAP, I2, PeopleSoft), J2EE on various platforms: Unix, Linux and NT
Responsibilities:
Ø Create test plans and design/develop test cases
Ø Design and development of customer scenarios using Informatica products
Ø Setup test environment, execute test tasks and analyze test results
Ø Troubleshoot and automate the tests to ensure product quality
Ø Communicate effectively with developers and QA peers to resolve bugs/issues
Ø Participate in functional specification reviews with development (help define product functionality, etc.)
Required:
Ø BS/MS/MCA in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar technical degree
Ø 2-5 years of software testing and/or development experience
Ø Solid knowledge and working experience with UNIX/NT,
Ø Solid experience with at least one of the major RDMS’s
Ø Experience with Test Automation tools (Visual Test, Silk Test, WinRunner etc)
Ø Familiarity with J2EE , XML, Web Services(for Business Intelligence products)
Ø Extensive knowledge of software testing methodology and the software development life cycle
Ø Demonstrated ability to logically and analytically troubleshoot software
Ø Excellent oral and written communication skills
